Corvallis New Horizons Band is a concert band that rehearses and performs in  Corvallis, Oregon.  The ensemble tackles an eclectic variety of concert band literature at the easy to medium level of difficulty, and membership is open to all interested musicians–including those with little or no prior band experience.

We are affiliated with New Horizons International Music Association that began in the 1990s under the leadership of Dr. Roy Ernst and adhere the the philosophy and goals of that organization:  we aim to be a welcoming environment for adult beginners of all ages (and also for adults “re-connecting” with an instrument).  We try very hard to be supportive, challenging, enriching, educational, and above all, FUN!

We currently rehearse Thursday nights from 6:15-8:15 in Corvallis (for venue information and additional details call our director, Patrick Gross, at 541-840-6431, or email patrick@tncrealty.com.

By arrangement, from 5:00 until 6:00 before rehearsal, Dr. Gross will be available to work with beginners, or others looking for additional support–individually or in small groups.
